Comprehensive Service:
Dewey strives to help you understand the college admissions process and manage applying to schools. Applying to college should be fun and rewarding and not stressful . The following are included in my fees:
Dewey strives to help you understand the college admissions process and manage applying to schools. Applying to college should be fun and rewarding and not stressful . The following are included in my fees:
- "Best Fit" college list building
- How to efficiently research the college list
- How and why to network with colleges
- How to maximize merit scholarship opportunities
- Interviewing prep and strategies
- Complete Essay Writing support (through Google Docs & WOW)
- Career & Major exploration and planning
- College visits
- Recommendation/Reference support (teacher, counselor, other)
- Application support (no limit on number of apps - 10-15 recommended)
- Need-based Financial Aid information
- Support for athletes and visual/performing artists.
Rates for all students (middle school, high school, and transfer students)
$300/meeting. No lower or upper limit on the number of meetings, but typically there are between 15 to 30 meetings, depending on when we start.
NOTE: Availability for new Juniors typically closes by January of 11th grade,
Meetings occur via Zoom.

All fees include E-mail and Text support between meetings.

Dewey works with all students to help plan course selections, testing schedules, school-year activities and summer experiences. In younger years (middle school through 11th grade) the emphasis is on exploring possible majors and careers and being ready to apply to a targeted list of colleges with a strong student profile. The college application process itself begins in June going into senior year. Counseling meetings typically continue through the spring semester of senior year. Regardless of when we start, the goal is to be "ahead of schedule", relaxed, focused, and motivated.
